Well. It was interesting, I'll give it that. Not how I expected it it all. I thought it was going to be serious. I could not have been more wrong. By the fourth song, I'm sure I had a face like this: O_e
I mean, props to ALW for making a musical about a Bible story, but seriously WTF.
And the costumes... Mrs. Potiphar's outfit, along with every other girl in Potiphar's house, HAD THEIR FREAKING BOOBS ONLY COVERED BY A LITTLE BIT OF RHINESTONES. Seriously Potiphar, what do you expect your wife to go around doing when you let her dress like a whore?? Don't blame Joseph!
But as for the guy's costumes... I was very happy with Joseph's... >:) he was pretty much shirtless for over half the musical. DONNY OSMAND MMMMMMM.
I liked Pharoh's costume as well. Until I saw the hair. I'm not shure Elvis would appreciate the impersonation.
Actually, im not sure the actual Joseph would appreciate any of that musical. Or anyone from the actual story, for that matter.
I don't want to say it was terrible, because it was enjoyable, but a lot was just...stupid. Like when Joseph was arresting Benjamin, I don't think the other brothers would just turn into Bob Marley.
